Anna Gunn
Anna Gunn is an American actress from America. Her most well-known role was as Skyler on AMC's drama Breaking Bad. She won Primetime Emmy Awards in 2013 and 2014 for Outstanding Supporting Performance in Drama Series in 2013 and 2014. She also appeared in Jean Ward in The Practice, and Martha Bullock in Deadwood. Anna Gunn, born 1968 in Sante Fe New Mexico fell in Love with Acting in the Preparatory stage before moving with her family to Ohio. Her studies in theatre was at Northwestern University. A semester was spent in the British American Drama Academy. Anna was employed in the Chicago theatre for many years prior to taking on film and television roles. Anna had her biggest break in 1992 when she appeared as Arden for the duration of 29 episodes on Down the Shore. Anna continued appearing in films and TV series such as Seinfeld, NYPD Blue and others until late 1990's. Anna was later placed in The Practice as Jean Ward. The role was played by Martha Bullock in Deadwood for two seasons in the late 2000s. Skyler appeared in Breaking Bad (2008). Sully was also one of her roles. Gunn played in David Schwimmer's Sex With Strangers, a production that was directed by David Schwimmer. In addition, she played in the play Numbered Day. It is which is a series of audio dramas. The love story between Walter White and his wife Skyler is the most prominent element of the story on Breaking Bad with the strained pull on their relationship and its eventual demise arguably mirroring the same arc of Walter White's final years of his life.
